Cloud security 2023: an exclusive report from Palo Alto Networks

What characterizes cloud security?

Obviously, it is dynamism, unpredictability and great perspective.

The situation in cloud environments changes very quickly. In addition, the shift to a hybrid work format accelerated changes and increased the complexity of program security. Thus, it isn't easy to follow all the updates.
Palo Alto Networks has prepared a report on the state of cloud security for 2023. Experts spent a month conducting a survey in seven countries, covering five industries, for advice from 2,500+ cloud security and DevOps professionals – from CEOs to developers and security technicians.
The report aims to identify key decisions affecting development and security in the cloud.
The statistics in the report are based on data for the first two quarters of 2023 and include the following indicators:
● New deployment frequency has increased by 67% in the past 12 months. ● 76% of respondents deploy new or updated code to production weekly. ● 72% of organizations report an above-average turnover rate in cloud security roles. ● 78% of respondents want better day-one security from tools. ● 77% of organizations say aligning security tools with security goals is challenging.
